What Happened Last Night

Tigger and Tilly,
Cedar and Stella
Sat down by the TV
They watched the grey blue glowing box
And what then did they see?

Tigger saw a bouncing tail hopping right on by
Cedar saw the faeries dance and never wondered why
Stella saw the ghosts as play as if it were a game
Tilly saw the stars at night calling her by name

The house dissolved, the trees gathered ‘round
A singing wind the only sound
The TV then became the moon
They danced almost until they swooned

The moon did set
The sun did rise
Tigger and Tilly
Cedar and Stella
Wiped the laughter from their eyes
